Creating automated concgram lists from specified words.
When you make the lists using the automated concgram search functions you can create lists for words which you specify rather than using all the words in a text. Only the word(s) you specify will be used for node word searches, and only the words which are found to be associated with these node words will be stored in the concgrams list. Search words can be specified in two ways:
by using the Concgram Selected Words Dialog which appears when you select CONCGRAMS >> CREATE NEW CONCGRAM LIST (AUTOMATED) >> USING SPECIFIED WORDS ONLY from the Concgrams Menu
by using an Inclusion List, as illustrated in Figure 29 - select CONCGRAMS >> CREATE NEW CONCGRAM LIST (AUTOMATED) >> USING ONLY WORDS SPECIFIED IN AN INCLUSION LIST from the Concgrams Menu
The Concgram Specified Words Dialog is shown in Figure 27 below:
Figure 27: the Concgram Specified Words Dialog
Type the word(s) you want to use as single origins then press ADD - when you have finished, press OK (make sure you press ADD at least once or the dialog will return an empty list).

Words can also be added to an Inclusion List, as shown below. The text will then be searched only for words in the list - an example is shown below:

Inclusion Lists are useful if you have a number of words such as prepositions you want to investigate. You can use any text editor to create the lists, or use the CONCGRAMS >> MAKE INCLUSION LIST function from the Concgrams Menu.
