Sorting functions

When you create a list of concordances using the Concordance Selection dialog by default the list is sorted according to RIGHT COLLOCATES.  You can change this to sort by LEFT COLLOCATES or be UNSORTED using the Sort Dropdown list in the dialog box:

After selecting right or left sort, select the Distance from Keyword (by default set to 1). You can sort by collocates which are 1, 2 or 3 words to the right or left of the keyword.

The list will then be created and sorted accordingly:

Collocates are sorted alphabetically. Once you have created the sorted list of concordances you can get a summary of the collocate statistics from the STATISTICS MENU.
