Creating Cloze Tests with ClozeMaker

A number of pre-defined Cloze Tests can be selected from the ClozeMaker Menu options.  The tenth button in the top toolbar is for creating a test by deleting every nth word, which is the first option in the ClozeMaker Menu.

Selecting this option the user is first presented with the Word Deletion Dialog which allows the user to select the number of words to be deleted.  The default is every 7th word, but this can be made higher by selecting from the dropdown list:

The test appears in a maximized window, the text remains in its own window but is not visible to the student.

The lower toolbar is now enabled for doing the test.  The deleted words must be selected in any order, and the arrow buttons provide a simple way to navigate  between the deleted words.  The word is typed into the edit control, and (if entered correctly) is entered into the text by clicking the Answer Button in the Test Toolbar.  In Figure 7 below the third word has been input and placed in the text by clicking the Answer Button, and the fourth word has been entered into the edit control:
