Adding Comments


Inserting comments in MS Word

When you have identified some error or part of the text that needs to be improved, and decided on the comment that you wish to insert, you can insert a comment from the Insert Menu (Ctrl-Alt-M).

Creating a comment in Word

Type the comment (or use the AutoCorrect shortcut) into the Comment Window.

You can either type your comments directly or insert them using the autocorrect shortcuts. Continue until you have finished marking the file.

Note: an easy way to enter comments is to open the Reviewing toolbar. To display this, point to Toolbars on the View menu, and then click the Reviewing toolbar. To add a comment, click the Insert Comment icon on the Reviewing toolbar.
