Files located in one directory can be searched without being opened first. In the Concordance Selection dialog box select the "Directory" radio button in the "Files" option:
After selecting "OK" the Directory Search dialog box appears:
You can hold down the Control Key to select the files you want to search and then click the "Select files" button to start the search. If you want to search all the files in the directory, simple select the "Select all matching files" button. The progress dialog will keep track of the searches.
Concordances are listed in a new window the same way as described earlier for open file searches. Right click the mouse on any line in the concordance window to see the word in context in the corpus file which will be opened and displayed in another window. sorting collocates Next page -> |
